Mark Raborn got his start performing with local bluegrass bands in his native Chattanooga. Later, based in Nashville, he worked with James and Bill Monroe, as well as bluegrass legends Mac Wiseman and Josh Graves. Mark’s second solo CD, Banjo on the Bayou, is the first Cajun banjo project ever. He performs jazz and Irish music as well. Mark currently plays with Outside Passage and the Foggy Memory Boys, and conducts banjo workshops. He says, "I enjoy my time with beginning players and helping them coax music from their efforts."
